Jasen Whitfield, Sr., was led by a melody of angels from his home in Grand Prairie, Texas on May 20, 2026 at the age of 47.

He was born on March 23, 1979 in Wichita, Kansas where he was raised.

Through the years Jasen had lived between Wichita and Texas with his final move to Grand Prairie in 2022.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed wrestling, watching horror movies and fishing.

Jasen will be forever loved. He leaves two sons Caleb Whitfield and Jasen Whitfield, Jr; brothers Carl Meridy, Reginald "Reggie" Whitfield, Cleyborn Whitfield, Samuel E. Burns; and sister Madelene "Mona" Lee, Tonia Williams, and Ladina Whitfield; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Meeting Jasen as he crossed the river were his father JoNathan Whitfield and mother Arlene Holmes, along with his brothers Jonathan Whifield, Felix Whitfield; and sister Amanda Carpree Burns.

Family and friends will gather to remember Jasen at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 6 at Affordable Cremations Plus in Wichita, Kansas.
