Jason Scott Pinkerton died on April 19, 2026 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas following a motorcycle accident.

He was born on April 18, 1970 in Wichita. Jason graduated from Wichita East High School. He married Tina Vieira on April 3, 1989 in Wichita, they were married for 17 years and continued to be good friends after.

Jason loved riding his motorcycle, and spending time with friends and his dogs.

Survivors include his two children Alex Pinkerton and wife Ashton of El Dorado, and Courtney Pope and husband Zack of Andover along with two grandchildren Ella and Emily Pope.

Jason is preceded in death by his father James Robert Pinkerton and mother Kyral Sue Blankenship Cowans, as well as his grandparents Zona and Charles Swank who played a huge role in raising him.

Private services will be held.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
