Jayne Linn Fike, 66, died Friday, January 16, 2026 at her home in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on December 21, 1959 in Buffalo, Missouri. As a child Jayne moved to Wichita and was adopted by Melvin Darrell and Carol Percival Fike. She attended Wichita West High School.

Through the years Jayne had worked in Wichita at Kwik Shop, Venture Store as well as 10 years at the Dolly Madison Bread Store.

She enjoyed playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, and collecting eagles and baby dolls.  Her favorite musician is Elvis Presley. She loved to eat at Golden Corral.

Survivors include her companion of 26 years, Kenneth Welch, of the home; daughters Heather Sells and husband Phillip of Haysville, Amber Engleheart and husband Jeffery of Derby, and a bonus daughter Tracy Finkle of Wichita; along with several brothers and sisters; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her dad, her biological mother and a great granddaughter.

Memorial services will be held at  2pm on Friday January 23rd at the Life Change Church, 10225 E. Kellogg Dr.  Wichita, KS.  67207.
