Obituary

Jayson Majors went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 6, 2026. Jay was born September 13, 1979, in Orlando, FL during hurricane Frederic. His parents moved to Wichita, KS when he was 6 years old. Jay graduated from Goddard High and went on to work various jobs in truck driving, maintenance, and was a combat medic in the army. He loved his country and helping others. Jay spent many years serving with preschool ministry and children's ministry. He loved to have fun and was always full of ideas for a good time.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Majors, and is survived by his wife of over 17 years, Tammy Majors; parents Todd and Pam Gearheart; brother Matthew (Megan); plus multiple nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many close friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 28th, at 1:00 pm at New Life Covenant Church: 1819 W Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67213.
