Gerald Ralph "Jerry" Yankovich, 59, of Derby, died Monday, May 26, 2025 at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center of Ascension Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on January 5, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri. The family moved to Wichita in 1969 where Jerry attended Clark Elementary School, Curtis Middle School and graduated from Southeast High School in 1984.

He married his childhood sweetheart, Cassie Phillips, on August 10, 1991 in Wichita.

Jerry had several different jobs until he found his home with Carbanc Auto Sales where he worked for 30 years and was the General Manager.

He loved playing pool, tinkering with cars and anything else he could drag home.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Cassie; daughters Jessica Yankovich and companion Tim Gile of Haysville, Raven Yankovich and companion Jake Wiggins, Taelor Cash husband Cody of Wichita; his mother Cheri McCartney Dey and step-father Jerry Dey of Wichita; brother Kyle Dey and wife Jenny of Texas; sisters Tracy Kirkland of Wichita, Tamie Barnett of North Carolina, Paula Yankovich of Wichita; his grandsons Ezekiel Dotson of Haysville  and Parker Parrish of Wichita.; along with several nieces and nephews.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father George Paul Yankovich; daughter Alyssa Yankovich; brothers Jeff Dey, George Paul Yankovich, Brian Yankovich; and mother-in-law Judy Phillips.
