Joanne Kay Edmondson, 65, lifelong Wichita resident, died Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She born on November 26, 1960 in Wichita, the daughter of John Perry and Frances Louise Frazier Prichard, and was the youngest of 10 children. Joanne was raised in the Benton area and graduated from Circle High School in 1978. She later attended Kansas State University and received her Bachelor Degree from Friends University.

Through the years Joanne had been a Procurement Analyst at Beech Aircraft.

Survivors include her two brothers Tom Prichard of Benton, Tim Prichard of Arkansas City; her sisters Teresa Stader of Lancaster, Wisc., Karen Heersche of Mulvane, Pat Randa and Mary Lou Prichard both of Wichita; along with a daughter.

Joanne is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Michael Prichard , Dan Prichard,  Larry Prichard.

Private family inurnment will take place at the Littleton Cemetery outside of Mulvane, Kansas.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
