John William Fry

John William Fry, 87, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas, surrounded by his family.

He was born on November 28, 1938, in Dora, Arkansas, to Limuel Porter and Gertie (Weese) Fry. On July 3, 1964, John married the love of his life, Carol Campbell.

John found immense joy in his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He especially loved and delighted in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought endless happiness and pride to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Lou Ellen Guidry.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Fry; his son, Todd Fry (Paulette); his daughter, Angie Mullen (Matt); three grandchildren, Brianna Langer (Nolan), Daniel Mullen (fiancée Breanna), and Taylor Fry; two great-grandchildren, Elias Langer and Wayne Mullen; and his brother, Carl Fry (Sharon).

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 3600 W. 2nd St. N., Wichita, KS 67203.
