Obituary

John "Johnny" Clifford Wayne Rogers, 41, of Wichita, left his earthly body on Friday December 5th, 2025.

Johnny entered this world on January 25th, 1984, to John and Lori Rogers in Riverside California. The family moved to El Dorado, Kansas in 1991 where he grew up with his three sisters and parents. Johnny graduated from El Dorado High School. After graduating, Johnny attended Coffeyville Community College on a football scholarship. In 2005 Johnny and Ashia Strauss welcomed their pride and joy, Lilly Anne Rogers, on May 23rd. Johnny and Ashia remained close while raising Lilly.

During his time on earth, Johnny loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved watching his daughter grow and blossom into the wonderful person she is.  He was a member of the Bearded Villains Charitable Organization where he was dedicated to helping the community. Johnny was head of security for XY LLC and many sister companies. He was loved and cherished by all his coworkers and customers. Johnny was also so proud of his faithful companions, his cats, Sal and Vinny. Johnny was known for his sense of humor and dedication to his family and numerous friends.

Survivors include his daughter, Lilly Rogers; parents John and Lori Rogers; Sisters, Denna (Reggie) Rice, Kimberly (Nick) Poe, and Krystal (Chase) Andrews. Nieces and nephews Jalen, Hudson, Kynzie, Axten, Brynli, Korbyn, and Dallas. Numerous aunts and uncles as well as his beloved companions, his cats Sal and Vinny.

Johnny was preceded in death by his grandparents Louie and Caroll Rogers, Louisa and Bud Endarude; grandfather Jack Taber and his best friend Mitch Rupp.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 at 11:00 A.M., Walter's Event Center at 10001 N.W. US HWY 77, Burns, KS 66840.
