Johnna Mae Limbre Hulett, 15, of Newton, Kansas joined her mother Erna Limbre Hulett in Heaven on Saturday, July 19, 2025 following a 10 month battle with Leukemia.

She was born in the Philippines on October 14, 2009. She and her mother moved to Okinawa in 2012 to live with her adoptive father Joshua Thomas Hulett who was stationed there. A few years later they moved to the US where they lived in several locations through the Midwest before settling down in Newton, KS following her mother's passing in 2022.

Johnna was looking forward to being a Sophomore at Newton High School this coming school year. She was a member of both the volleyball team and school marching band. She was extremely full of life and went all out for all school activities. An amazing big sister, always looking out and helping her younger siblings.

She was brave beyond words, and she showed us all what strength truly looks like.

Survivors include her father Joshua Hulett, step-mother Samantha Hulett, siblings Risa and Leo, and step-sister Hannah.

A celebration of life will be at Kingdom Life Ministries, 505 S Ridge Rd, Hesston, KS 67062. Saturday August 2nd, 2025 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. This event is to gather and share the wonderful memories of Johnna.
