Jonathan Dale Cashion, 45, died Sunday, December 1, 2024 at his home in Augusta, Kansas with his family by his side.

He was born on May 30, 1979 in Wichita where he was raised and graduated from Wichita South High School in 1997. He would later become an Electrician through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers since 1997.

Jonathan married Mindy Millisia Stroot on July 24, 1999 in Wichita. They have lived in Augusta for the past 15 years.

Most recently Jonathan has been working with Decker Electric in Wichita. He loved spending time on his tractor along with doing anything mechanical. He enjoyed welding and doing woodworking.

Survivors include his wife Mindy of the home; children Zachary Cashion of Wichita, Dylan Cashion and Mallory Cashion of Augusta; his father and step-mother David and Becci Cashion of Whitewater, Ks.; brothers Aaron Hutton and wife Emily of Wichita, Landis Cashion and wife Taylor of Green Valley, Mo.; his in-law's Raymond and Dorene Stroot of Augusta; along with his nephews Jaxton, Mason, Kane Cashion and Jamison Hutton.

Jonathan is preceded in death by his mother Nicki Hawley Janne.

Memorial services will be held Monday December 9, 2024 at 4pm at Hope Community Church, Andover KS

Private family inurnment will be in the Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita.
