Jose Hector Nolasco, aged 83, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at his Wichita, Kansas residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 11, 1941, in El Salvador to Jose de la Paz Jimenez Delgado and mother Francisa Nolasco, he spent his formative years in El Salvador before relocating to the United States.

Jose married Elsie Louise Walker on December 16, 1985, in Wichita, where they built a beautiful life together, until her passing on January 3, 2025.

With 38 years of dedicated service, Jose worked as a Foreman at Roof Mechanics in Wichita.

He took great pleasure in watching soccer and exploring computer-related activities.

Jose is survived by his daughter, Nuria Enperatriz Nolasco de Mayen, and her husband, Carlos Alexander Mayen, of El Salvador; three step-children, Joseph Naranjo and wife Claudia, Gabe Naranjo and wife Katrina, and Venus Shea and dearly departed husband Robert; 21 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife, Elsie.

A private family remembrance will be held in honor of Jose.
