Joyce Lucille Adams Bettes, of Larned, KS went to be with her Lord on October 27, 2024. She was surrounded by family.

Joyce was born on December 13, 1954 to Delbert and Eleanor (Smith) Adams. On July 22, 1988, she married Lonnie Bettes at Grace Lutheran Church in Larned, Kansas. They enjoyed 36 years of marriage.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Daniel Detrich, and two sons Jeremy and Joseph Adams.

Joyce was a strong, beautiful soul that everyone loved. She was a stay at home Mom, CNA and a home health aide.

She is survived by her husband Lonnie, their children, Rebecca Detrich, Newton, KS, Stephanie King, Larned, KS, Summer (Billy) Ludwig, Belen, NM, Amber (CJ) Wilder, Henderson, NV, Timothy Detrich, Norton, KS. One sister, Linda Fox, North Newton, KS and one brother Allan (Debbie) Adams, Larned, KS. 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
