Joyce Lynn Liebst

Joyce Lynn Liebst, 67, of Augusta, KS, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, October 4, 2026. Joyce was born to Delores and Paul Williamson on October 8, 1958 in Wichita, KS.

Joyce loved attending church at Prairie Hills Southern Baptist Church. She loved doing crafts and teaching her grandkids how to make new things. Joyce loved attending the local senior center for bingo and to see friends. At home, she loved to plant flowers and tend to her plants.

Joyce is survived by her son, Michael Liebst and wife Jessica of Andover, KS; daughter, Jennifer Liebst of Augusta, KS; son, Richard Liebst and wife Latisha of Augusta, KS; daughter, Jessica and husband Tim of Augusta, KS; sisters; Ethel (Frank) Brooks, Martha (Neil) Martin, Barbara (Bob) Haycox, Debbie Britton, and brother, Pete Bates. Grandchildren; Kayden, Noah, Natalie, Jakob, Damian, Lukas, Emma, Grace, Tessa, Jaelynn, and Bentley.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Rick Liebst, parents, Paul and Delores Williamson, and brother, Bill Bates.

Celebration of life will be held on her birthday, October 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Prairie Hills Southern Baptist Church in Augusta, Ks.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Victory in the Valley.
