Judith A. Fields, 84, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026.

She was born on September 22, 1941, in Holton, Kansas, to Edward and Arvilla (Owens) Booth. Judith lived a life centered around faith, family, and love. She will be remembered for her kind heart, her quiet strength, and her unwavering devotion to sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she met.

Judith had a deep love for singing and found joy in lifting her voice in praise. She also had a special place in her heart for animals especially her beloved squirrels and cats which brought her comfort and happiness throughout her life.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Evelyn Booth; her beloved husband, Raymond Fields; her three sons, Curtis Carrell, Michael Carrell, and Thomas Carrell; her brothers, Donald Booth and Gerald Booth; and her sister, Audrey "Pepper" Ritter.

She is survived by her brother, George E. Booth (Jean); her sister, Barbara Wray (Michael); her grandchildren, Cristel Carrell, Rachell Shaefer (Paul), Lester Carrell, Kelsey Carrell, Seth Carrell, and Victoria Watkins; along with numerous great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will continue to carry on her legacy.

Judith's greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her love will live on through each of them.

A service celebrating Judith's life will be held on March 26, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel at Central Community Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Community Church - Worship Arts Ministry in honor of Judith's love for music and worship.

She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
