Judy K. Crooks, 83, passed away on July 7, 2025 at her home in Haysville, Ks. She was born on October 6, 1941 in Stafford, Ks to Edward and Minnie Sparks.

She was a longtime Haysville resident of 60 plus years. She sold Avon for over 40 years. She enjoyed going to the casino and going out to eat with friends and family. She loved Elvis and listening to bluegrass music. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Harold Swaney, grandson, Ryan Acord, and 7 siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Acord, daughter, Stephanie Kerschen (Galen), sisters; Juanita Foreman, and Betty Myers, 10 grandchildren; Jessica Swaney, Christopher Wingert, Michael Wingert, Melissa Acord, Amy Vaughn (Matt), Lori Thompson, Becky Hull, Noni Kerschen, Vonda Kerschen, and Sophie Kerschen, 20 great grandchildren; Kylee, Preslee, Keith, Mady, Rachel, Claire, Kaylie, Stormi, Jaelynne, Emberlee, Kaizen, Kohyn, Zayne, Zayden, Daxx, Kade, Knox, Marty, Emmett, and Crispen, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
