Judy Elaine Tucker, 75, died peacefully at her home in Salina, Kansas with her husband Mike by her side on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

She was born in Kearney, Nebraska on February 20, 1951 the daughter of Harry and Lily Irene Brisbin Brooks. Judy was raised on a farm in Minden, Nebraska and graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1969.

She later attended Cloud County Community College in Concordia and received her Licensed Practical Nurse degree, going on to become a Registered Nurse.

Judy married Robert Michael "Mike" Tucker on February 27, 1976 at the Saline County Courthouse. They lived in Salina for over 50 years aside from a short time living in Tennessee.

She worked as an R.N. at the Salina Presbyterian Manor for 28 years and later at the Salina Regional Medical Center for two years before retiring.

Judy enjoyed reading and solving a variety of puzzles.

Survivors include her husband Mike of the home; daughter Angela Tucker of Knoxville, Tennessee; her father Harry Brooks of Hutchinson, Ks.; sister Sharon Blanton; brothers Larry Brooks, Kevin Brooks, and Matthew Brooks along with several nieces and nephews.

Judy is preceded in death by her mother Lily.

A Celebration of Life is planned for 19th of February 2027.
