Kathleen Nanette Ivy, lifelong Wichita resident, died Monday, March 16, 2026 at Ascension Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on August 27, 1954 in Wichita, the daughter of Clarence Lloyd and Margaret Anna Neuschafer Ivy. Kathy graduated from Campus High School in Haysville and later attended Wichita State University.

For nearly 30 years she had been a News Editor for KSN Television. After retiring she was a driver for O'Reilly's. Kathy was an avid WSU Baseball fan, she loved traveling to their games and being part of fundraising events. She also enjoyed playing pool.

Survivors include her brother Robert Ivy and his wife Janice of Andover; sister Sheryl Vopat and husband Joe of Quartzsite, Arizona; along with several nieces and nephews.
