Kathy Jo Clark, 73, of Wichita, died Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on August 3, 1951 in Syracuse, Kansas, the daughter of Donald and Frances Hartshorn. Kathy graduated from Syracuse High School and later attended Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia Kansas.

Kathy lived in Garden City for several years where she was a homemaker and plant fanatic. She moved to Wichita two years ago to be closer to medical resources and her daughter, Mandi and family.

Survivors include her daughters Mandi Edwards of Wichita, Kali Maxfield of Garden City; five sisters Jeannie Edwardson of Aransas Pass, Texas, Julie Caraker of Port Aransas, Texas, Tana Bleigh of Aransas Pass, Texas, Dona Murrell of Booneville, Kentucky and China Minor-Ramirez of Corning, California; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 12 at 10am in Syracuse, KS with a gathering and lunch at The Black Bison Pub located at 122 Main Street to follow. Church details will be updated once finalized.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in Kathy's honor be sent to Bethel House 1316 N Charlotte St, Wichita, KS 67208.
