Keith Elvin Buell, III, 48, of Maize, Kansas, died Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on August 14, 1976 in Santa Rosa, California, the son of Keith Elvin Buell, Jr. and Lori Jane Simonds Buell. The family moved to Goshen, Indiana in 1987 where Keith graduated from high school in 1995.

He served in the Army Reserve for six years and attended Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Keith lived in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area for 10 years where he had been a logistics scheduler for Krueger International. He had moved to the Wichita area within the past year and was a logistics scheduler for Yoder Smokers.

Keith was a devout Christian and had a very strong relationship with God. He loved to make people laugh and brought joy to everyone around him.

Keith was an avid football fan. He enjoyed traveling and sightseeing. Along with Roni, they enjoyed going on nature walks, attending concerts and music theater.

Survivors include his parents Lori and Keith Buell, Jr. of Anderson, South Carolina and his companion, Roni Mae Carroll, and her children he adored, Lexie Dawn and Luca Asher, of Maize.

Graveside inurnment services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, June 21 at the Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Peabody, Kansas
