Kenneth Wade Hill, 76, longtime Wichita resident, died Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on December 29, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the son of Johnnie and Margaret Johnson Hill. Kenneth graduated from Horace Mann High School in Little Rock.

He continued to live in Little Rock until moving to Wichita in 1972. Through the years he had been a plumber.

He married Bertha Hill

Kenneth was a Deacon at the St. Andrews Missionary Baptist Church in Wichita. He enjoyed watching wrestling and traveling.

He loved to spend time with his family. Survivors include his son Brian Hill and fiancé Loretha Bryant; and his adopted children Cassie Hill and Jonathan Hill all of Wichita; along with his siblings Rosalyn Scruggs and husband George of Little Rock, Johnny Hill of Little Rock, George Hill of Wichita, and Nancy McGill of Little Rock.

He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Bertha Hill, and grandson DeAundre Hill

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 20th at the World Harvest Christian Church, 1258 N Lorraine Ave., Wichita KS 67214.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
