Kenneth "Kenny" Bettes

Kenneth “Kenny” Allen Bettes, 73, of Pratt, Ks, passed away on July 24, 2026 in Cunningham, Ks. He was born on July 1, 1953 in Larned, Ks to Wilbur and Lela (Hawkins) Bettes.

He was an avid hunter and enjoyed going fishing. He often attended auctions and scrapped metal. He liked playing cards and going bowling.

He is preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Destiny, and five siblings; Clyde, Jim, and Alvin Bettes, Peggy Summers, and Donnie Bettes.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca, children; Mark Bettes, Erik Bettes, and Jennifer Denio, two sisters; Mary Thompson, Nancy Garland, 6 grandchildren; Alexander Gunter, Tate Thompson, Colter Thompson, Blayne Bettes, Emmalee Denio, and Madisen Bettes, and great granddaughter, Aurora Gunter.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pratt Senior Center. All are encouraged to dress casually. Lunch to follow at 619 N Main in Pratt.
