Kent William Faudel Sr., 49, passed away on March 9, 2025 after battling Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome for the majority of his life.

Kent was born on December 21, 1975 to Kurt William Faudel Sr., and Patricia Ann Faudel. He was raised in Halstead, Ks (the biggest little city in Kansas) where he grew up to become an active volunteer firefighter for both cities of Halstead and Hutchinson. He worked for Cessna until his illness caught up with him. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Jenny Lea DeWater, with whom he has one son, Kent Jr. He later married Jessica Weir Faudel.

Kent loved music. He was a self-taught drummist who could play anything after hearing it only once. He could sit down and write a song in a matter of five minutes. Kent was in the band, Hypoxia, but he also subbed for other bands throughout his musical career. He loved cooking enough food for an army, listening to Coast to Coast AM, studying religious texts, and going storm chasing. He was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors, travelling when he could, and giving to those in need despite how little he had.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Patty Ann, his paternal grandparents, Waldemar and Hilda Faudel, Jenny DeWater, and two of his many brothers, Eric B'Hymer and Casey Clark.

He is survived by his three sons; Kent (Ashley) Faudel Jr., Isaac Shaw, and Izelle Davis; his brothers Kurt (Misty) Faudel Jr., Shawn Christy, Billy Knowles, Jr., and Marshall Humphrey; his sisters, Shawna Faudel and Crystal Faudel, his final love, Jessica Weir, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
