Obituary

Kevin Iryl Oxborrow, age 70, passed away on April 11, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas.

Kevin was born on June 27, 1955, in Ely, Nevada, to Donald and Carol (Larson Cue) Oxborrow. He lived a life of faith, family, and service. He collected friends like he collected Coca Cola, hammers, M&M dispensers and animals. He was a jack of all trades.

On July 15, 1978, Kevin married the love of his life, Kathy (Records) Oxborrow, in Spokane, Washington. Their marriage was later sealed for time and all eternity in the Oakland California Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on June 26, 1981, a sacred commitment that remained central to his life.

Kevin was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Kathy (Records) Oxborrow; his children, Audra (Oxborrow) Swapp (James) and Jeremy Oxborrow (Hallie); and his cherished grandchildren Shelby and Aaron and all his furry granddogs. He found great joy in his family and took pride in the lives and accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.

Kevin will be remembered for his loving hugs, faith, his love of family and friends.
