Kimberly
Andrews
Sep 8, 1957 — Dec 23, 2025
Kimberly Joan Andrews, 68, a lifelong resident of Wichita, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the Catholic Care Center in Bel Aire, Kansas.
She was born on September 18, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Richard and Mary Frances (Marshall) Kime. Kim grew up in Wichita and graduated from Southeast High School.
Over the years, Kim worked as a receptionist for Kime's Plumbing, where her friendly smile and caring nature made everyone feel welcome. She married the love of her life, Larry Andrews, on August 26, 1979, in Wichita. They shared many happy years together until his passing in October 2011.
Kim was known for her infectious laughter, big heart, and boundless love for her family. She lived for her children and grandchildren, who were truly the light of her life. A lifelong animal lover, Kim adored all creatures great and small — especially her beloved Chinese pug Chico. She also found peace and strength in reading her Bible and relaxing in front of the TV with her furry companions.
At a petite 4 foot 11 and a half, her son Austin often joked that she was the family's "favorite midget," a title she proudly carried.
Survivors include her son, Austin Andrews and wife Angelina; daughter, Lindsay Joorabchi and husband Justin; cherished grandchildren Asher Andrews and Gaige Joorabchi, all of Wichita; and her brother Robert Kime (Father Nicholas) of Port Townsend, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother David Kime.
A Celebration of Kim's Life will be announced at a later date by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
