Kimberly Rene Shugart, 59, lifelong Wichita resident, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Ascension Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis Campus surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 2, 1967 in Wichita, the daughter of Jimmy R. and Priscilla Lorraine Berney Watson. Kim attended Campus High School in Haysville.

She had worked for Fugate Enterprises in Wichita for 15 years and later for the Rose Hill School District for five years. Kim enjoyed decorating cakes, singing, playing the piano, and spending time with her grandkids and friends.

Family was very important to her, she is survived by her children Cody Shugart, Morgan Shugart, and Shelby Shugart all of Wichita; brothers Carl Orman of Wichita, Joe Orman of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; sister Tammy Solis and husband Delano of Wichita; her grandchildren who she loved to spend time with Killian Stewart and Rowan Stewart; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Kim is preceded in death by her parents.

A Celebration of Kim's life will be held later.
