On Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 in Wichita, Kansas, an angel of the Lord was sent to bring home Laura Mae Nakhleh Landry to her Lord and Savior. Laura was born in Arlington, TX at Arlington Memorial Hospital on August 24,1966, where she lived and went to school and made memories before moving to Southeast Texas.

Laura is known for being an outstanding waitress and supervisor for different restaurants throughout the years, including Dorothy's Front Porch and Floyd Seafood. Laura attended Lamar University of Port Arthur, Tx and Eric Fisher Academy as an esthetician in Wichita, KS. Laura spent many years volunteering at pantries and churches throughout Texas and Kansas. Laura enjoyed singing, reading, going to restaurants, attending church and enjoyed her favorite can of Coca-Cola. She loved devoting her time to helping others.

Laura was a loving mother to Keeli Landry-Yowman (Terry Yowman) from Port Arthur, TX. Laura enjoyed being involved in her kids school life, volunteering in the PTA, and church activities.Laura was overjoyed with spending time with her grandchildren Keelia'Nae "NaeNae" Landry- Yowman, Keelia'Neese "Neesey" Landry-Yowman and Keelia'Nee "Tootie" Landry-Yowman.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Jewell Christine May of Huffman,TX, her elder sister who helped take care of Laura in the beginning of her life where many memories and business adventures were had throughout her life. Her brother Corey Schuff of Lovelady,Tx, who she shared fond memories with and enjoyed writing each other. Her nieces Amber Vela, Heather Ables, and Bethany Schuff. Close friends Nichole "Nickie" Cook and Courtney Patrick, along with a host of other friends.

Laura is preceded in death by: her father James Lee Britton, mother Dorothy Lucille Cleveland Schuff, Curry Joseph Schuff, Ray "RayBird" Perry, Russell "Rusty" John Landry and Phillip Morris

Family Services will be held in Texas.
