Linda Kincannon Armitage, 74, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, in Wichita.

She was born July 13, 1951, in Wichita, Kansas, to J.W. Kincannon and Letha Juanita Jones Kincannon, who later married Harrod, and spent her life rooted in the Wichita area. She spent nearly her entire life in the home where she was raised, a place she cherished deeply, and she was able to remain there in her later years, passing peacefully in the home she loved.

Linda was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life was filled with creativity, compassion, and a deep love for all living things. She was exceptionally talented and expressed herself through art, painting beautiful scenes and creating dream catchers that reflected her imaginative spirit. Linda had a special connection with animals and opened her heart and home to many, helping care for and heal animals of all kinds. An avid gardener with a true green thumb, she loved being outdoors and was hands-on in everything she did. Above all, Linda cherished her children and grandchildren, who were the greatest joy of her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Odendahl (Stephen Odendahl), Rebecca Carrie Armitage, and Shaina Armitage; and her grandchildren, Jacob Dennett, Madeleine Dennett, Tucker Odendahl, Landon Walker, Izabell Odendahl, and Alana Odendahl.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Armitage; her parents; her sister Vaunelle Burris, her brother, Thomas Kincannon; and her beloved dog, Kayla.
