Linda Gayle Davis, 65, passed away on April 19, 2026 in Wichita, Ks. She was born on February 13, 1961 in LaJunta, Co to John and Lois (Felps) Cochran.

Gayle dedicated 19 years workings for Derby Westview Nursing Home before becoming a caregiver to her parents. Gayle's greatest joy was being the mother of Jessica and Melinda and grandmother to Juvon, and was happiest when spending time with them. She shared a close bond with her sisters and cherished time with them. Her immense love and a constant sense of caring for her family will always be remembered as well as her compassionate and generous spirit.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Brad Davis.

She is survived by her daughters; Jessica Davis and Melinda Davis, both of Wichita, grandson, Juvon, and three sisters; Bobbi Carriger of Maize, Ks, Terri Petersen (Jim) of Kechi, Ks, and Cathy Harris (James) of Wichita. Gayle also leaves behind a half bother Ed Kreie, half sisters Tracee Glass and Cindy Elder, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, an aunt, cousins, and special friends.

A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
