Linda Lee Ricker, 80, passed away peacefully and gained her wings on August 10, 2026 at Life Care Center of Wichita, KS under the loving guidance of Good Shepherd Hospice in Wichita, KS.
She was born on November 13, 1945 in Cedar Rapids, Ia to Alfred Bedell and Esther-Arlene Turner-Bedell.
Linda will be remembered for being a survivor and a warrior for the many traumatic events that she endured throughout her lifetime. Linda cherished the time she spent with her family, she worked as a waitress, a cashier at Wal-Mart and she was really good at cross stitch, crocheting and a great cook. She loved being by the ocean and traveling with her husband Eugene Ricker. Her best years were spent in Florida with Eugene by her side until his passing in 2011.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Alfred and Arlene and stepparents Helen Bedell and Lee Wilcoxson.
She is survived by; Christine Rennenger and (John) of Des Moines, Ia, Lisa Oldham of Derby, Ks, Jeff Oldham (Jamie) of Calamus, Ia, Tammy Kubalek of Iowa Falls, Ia, and Randy Kubalek (Anna) of Des Moines, Ia, one brother; Jim Wilcoxson (Lori) of Ely, Ia, one sister, Jane Wickliff (Terry) of Newton, Ia, 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Linda Lee Ricker was surrounded by the grace and love of God through the nursing staff of Life Care Center of Wichita, Cancer Center of Kansas and Good Shepherd Hospice for the past 7 years of her life.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Affordable Cremations Plus, 7920 W Kellogg Drive Suite 200 Wichita, Ks.
