Lloyd M. Muldrow, Jr.

Lloyd Milton Muldrow, Jr., longtime Wichita resident, died Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the Family Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas. His family and friends would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Center and Cardinal Hospice of Kansas for their compassionate care for Lloyd during his last days.

He was born on February 3, 1960 in Wichita, Kansas. As a child the family moved to the Chicago area where he lived until he was about 15 years old and returned to Wichita. Lloyd later lived in California before returning again to Wichita.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan! Enjoyed playing dominoes and watching wrestling.

He loved being around people - the kind of guy always game to talk football. He was very mentally strong and enjoyed his life. He was famous for his delicious jello cake at family gatherings and very proud and passionate about his purpose. Through the years Lloyd had worked in area restaurants along with being a roofer. In recent years he volunteered in his neighborhood.

Survivors include his daughters LaTray Goree of Hurst, Texas and Goldie Berger of Wichita, Kansas; father Lloyd M. Muldrow, Sr. of Handford, Calif.; brothers Martin Muldrow of Wichita, Elijah Askia of Florida; sister Tina Humphrey of Wichita; and granddaughters Kellie Goree and Keishanna Herrick.

Lloyd’s village included Larry Martin Sr., Aunt Debra Reed, Aunt Linda Robertson and Aunt Trina Mitchell. Cousins are Debra Martin, Larry Martin Jr., Steven Martin, Angela Martin, Justin Martin, Sherry Martin, Shorlonda Reed, Steven Robertson, Stacee Murray, Cheri Mitchell, Shawn Mitchell and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his wife Sharon Muldrow and mother Judy Faye Martin-Reese.

No services are currently planned. Please celebrate Lloyd’s life by thinking of him as you enjoy something that gave him joy: watching football, playing dominoes, or eating an oatmeal cream pie.
