Lorn H. Smith, Sr., 71, passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 27, 2026. Lorn was born September 7, 1954, in Wichita, Kansas, to Howard and Marjorie Smith.

Lorn is survived by his loving wife Judy, whom he shared thirty-five years with; three sons; four daughters; twenty-two grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and his stepmom.

Lorn was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Shawn Gomez; his sister, Wava Ruckle; and his brothers, Robert Smith, Tommy Smith, and Howard Smith.

Lorn was dedicated to his family and spent many hours with them on camping trips, playing board games and cards, and working on puzzles. His hobbies included shooting pool, darts, watching westerns, and taking as many naps as he could in his recliner.
