Maleah Shae Archer, 21, of Arkansas City, the mother of Elijah Joseph Andrew Szymoniak and Tyson Lee Eagan, lost her life in an automobile accident South of Arkansas City on Friday, September 20, 2024.
She was born on January 11, 2003 in Arkansas City, Kansas and was raised and attended schools in Ark City. Maleah had worked at Subway and Hibbets Sports. She enjoyed going to the casino, fishing and shopping.
She adored her two sons who survive her.
Maleah's father Steven Mark Archer and step-mother Hortensia live in Dodge City; sisters Brianna Archer of Dodge City, Bell Hiatt of Wichita; and grandmother Shawn Finnern of Springfield, Mo.
Maleah's mother Allison Paton lives in Arkansas City; along with brothers and sisters Stanley Chase Galbreath, Madison Renea Galbreath and husband Bobbie Eastman, and Brooks James Ladd; and grandparents Clayton and Lynn Paton of Arkansas City.
She was also very close to Natasha and David Eagan along with their daughter Nevaeh Richardson all of Arkansas City.
Maleah is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her brother Chase Michael Archer; grandfathers Jackie Archer and Gene Finnern; great grandparents Jack and Nina Archer, Jack and Billie Paton, Charles "Chic" and Mary Lee Martin, Richard and Mary Williams and the father of her son Elijah, Jonathan Szymoniak.,
Everyone is welcome to attend a memorial service will be held at 4:30 P.M., Friday, October 4th at the First Baptist Church in Arkansas City with Pastor Dave Stanley officiating.
