Manuel Eddie Gomez, 70, died Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at his home in Wichita, Kansas with his family by his side.

He was born on January 10, 1955 in Anito, Colorado, the son of Antonio and Aurora Martinez Gomez. Manuel was raised and graduated from high school in Anito. He later received a state certificate as a Certified Nurses Assistant.

Manuel and Joyce Glenn lived in the Tacoma, Washington area for 25 years where he worked in a nursing home as well as did apartment maintenance. They moved from Tacoma to Wichita four years ago.

He was an avid Denver Broncos Fan and enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his companion and wife of 36 years, Joyce Glenn of the home in Wichita; daughter Neobe Jackson of Tacoma; son Robert Pearson of Wichita; sisters Irene Gomez of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Frances Lujan of Monte Vista, Colorado; 17 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; cousins, nieces, and nephews, along with many other family members and friends.

Manuel is preceded in death by his parents; daughters Tafayata Bryant, Tanyeka Glenn; brothers Tony, Isidor, Robert and Kenny Gomez; and sisters Servy Fernandez, Nellie Miranda, and Pauline Anaya.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Affordable Cremations Plus in Wichita, Kansas.

Inurnment will take place at the Las Mesitas Cemetery in Anito, Colorado.
