Maria Consepcion Valencia Morales, 82, died Saturday, December 20, 2025 at her home in Wichita, Kansas surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 8, 1943 in Tecalitlan, Mexico, the daughter of Benjamin Valencia Buenrrostro and Juana Morales Vega.

Maria married Jesus Torres Padron in April 1980. He died on September 7, 1990. She continued to live in Mexico until moving to Wichita six years ago.

Survivors include her son Francisco Torres Valencia and his wife Adriana Carranza and granddaughters Jessica Torres and Julissa Torres all of Wichita. Maria is also survived by her brothers and sisters Alfredo Valencia, Adan Valencia, Josefina Valencia, and Eva Valencia all in Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and her brothers and sisters Nicanor Valencia, Olimpo Valencia, Dolores Valencia, Ranalda Valencia, Javier Valencia, and Benjamin Valencia.

Private family services will be held.
