Marilyn Bilyeu, 77, longtime Wichita resident, died Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the Meridian Health Care Center in Wichita, Kansas.
She was born on July 29, 1949, in Fredonia, Kansas. The daughter of Thomas Ross Scott and Ruth Lyon Scott. Marilyn was raised in the Fredonia area where she attended school. She moved to Wichita when she was 16 years old and later attended Wichita State University.
Marilyn enjoyed watching television ministries, nature shows and old-time westerns.
Marilyn was a devoted Christian throughout her life.
Survivors include two sisters Margaret Ellen Littlewood of Rio Rancho, N.M., Wanda Louise Law of Mulvane; and brother Jimmy Ross Scott of Cherryvale, Kansas.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; husband C.D. Bilyeu; and sister Naomi Ruth Barnhart.
She will be placed along with her husband in the Farmington Cemetery near Fredonia, Kansas.
Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
