Marilyn Ann "Mickey" Snyder, age 93, of Wichita KS, passed away on August 7, 2025. She was born in 1932 in Lone Tree, Iowa, to the late Wayne and Blanche Stonebarger.

Mickey was preceded in death by her brothers Marion, DeWayne "Pete", Tom, Jerry, and Richard; and by her son, Wayne Snyder.

Mickey is survived by one daughter and three sons: Teresa Snyder Davis of Denver CO, Warren (Diane) Snyder of Wichita, Gregg Snyder of Wichita, and Eric (Jana) Snyder of Wichita. Also widow of Wayne, Jean Snyder; and several grandchildren.

Mickey was known for having an upbeat, positive outlook, spreading her kindness to people and animals alike. For many years, Mickey served as a house mom at college fraternities and sororities, including Kansas State, Wichita State, and Baker University. Her residents remember her fondly, saying she always had time to listen, and made a positive impact on their lives. She also fostered 50 rescue dogs over the course of several years.

Additionally, she was a fitness inspiration to many. She earned a black tip belt in Taekwondo in her 60's and exercised at the downtown YMCA well into her 80's.

A Celebration of Mickey will be held Sat, Aug. 30 at Wichita Brewing Co, 901 W. Douglas, from 5-7pm.
