Mark Davis, 71, of Paola, Kansas, died Saturday, June 21, 2025 at his daughter's home in Minneapolis, Kansas after a battle of colon cancer.

He was born in Wichita, Kansas on August 20, 1953 to Lawrence Glen and Josephine Ann Hune Davis. Mark graduated from Cupertino High School in 1971.

He retired early from Roadway in 1991. Mark was a coin and silver collector, loved Rock N Roll music, especially Lynyrd Skynyrd. Mark saw many bands play in his early years and could name almost any song and artist. He had a heart of gold and a sense of humor that will leave a lasting impression on all those who knew and loved him. Some of his favorite things in life were Reese's, a Dr. Pepper with a lot of ice, his dog and a good daytime game show.

Survivors include his daughter Tara Wine and husband Brad of Minneapolis; son Lance Davis of Paola; brother Chris Davis of Wichita; sister Deborah Chamberlain of Eagle Point, Oregon; along with his eight grandchildren that he loved to spend time with, Devin, Nathan, Zach, Kaidon, Landon, Jerimiah, Braxton, and Avianna.
