Martha Lee Scott, 82, longtime El Dorado resident, died Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at LakePoint of Augusta.

She was born on December 9, 1941 in San Bernadino, California, the daughter of Uel O. and Alice Lee Mizer. The family moved to El Dorado, Kansas when she was a child.

Martha attended El Dorado High School and later worked as a Clerk at the Butler County Register Of Deeds Office for many years until retiring.

She loved her dogs along with watching the birds and squirrels in her yard. Martha was a life long member of the First Baptist Church in El Dorado.

Survivors include her daughter Dwayna Todroff and her husband James of El Dorado; son Howard Randall Knox and wife Schlene of Augusta; grandchildren Brandon Williams, Candace Knox, Caleb Williamson, Cameron Knox, and Madison Rodgers; and 10 great grandchildren.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Hank Burchard and Linton Mizer; and sisters Midge Danner and Hazel Wilson.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 18th at the Sunset Lawn Cemetery in El Dorado.
