Mary Alice (Jirak) Broadbent, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by family on March 11th, 2025, in Wichita, Kansas.

Mary was born on October 8th, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio to Richard Albert Jirak and Mary Rose (Fender) Jirak.

After completing her high school education in 1988 she enjoyed her time as a waitress, bus driver, wife/mother and childcare worker.  Her and Dennis met while working at a truck stop in Utah.  They were married a few years later on April 29th, 1995 in Wichita, Kansas.

Survivors include her husband - Dennis Broadbent, One Sister - Sharon Sechler, Two Sons, Shaun and Elizabeth Duncan of Puyallup, Washington and Patrick Hatsis of Lawrence, Kansas, One Daughter, Danielle and Joel Edwards of Augusta, Kansas, and Nine Grandchildren, Konner, Hayla, Samson, Elias, Colton, Damien, Seven, Lexi, and Valen.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mary, Two Brothers Donald Jirak and Ronald Jirak, One Sister, Sharlene Jirak.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, March 22nd at Life Church East Wichita, 338 North 127th, East, Wichita, Kansas
