Mary Elizabeth Everett was born December 11, 1960 in Newton Kansas. She peacefully passed away on September 3, 2026 at the K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, surrounded by family.

Mary grew up on the family farm in Towanda Ks with her parents, Eugene and Lorene Everett and her three sisters. She enjoyed the freedom of country life, making mud pies, and teasing farm animals, especially the pigs.

As a young adult she met Dan Morales, they were married in 1977 and had four sons together, James, Michael, Christopher, and Shaun. She loved being a stay-at- home Mom and raising her boys. Once they were a little older, she worked for many years in the medical records department at Axtell Clinic and eventually retired from Heartland Cardiology's medical records department due to health reasons.

Mary enjoyed many activities, gardening, sewing, coloring, puzzles, cooking and being outdoors; she was also very proud of earning her 3rd degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. Her Boys and Grandchildren were her greatest joy.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Lorene Everett; grandparents Carl and Agnes Everett; sisters Cynthia Folsum and Yvonne Lunak; and nephew Ken Folsum.

She is survived by her sons James (Chrissy), Michael (Staci), Christopher (Anna), Shaun (Nicole); sister Shirley Stiver (Mike); 13 Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 11 at the Salem United Methodist Church in Newton, Kansas. The casket will be open prior to the services at the church.

Interment will be in the Brainerd Cemetery in Brainerd, Kansas.
