Mary Lou Gillmore

Mary “Lou” Gillmore, 86, passed away on September 19, 2026 in Wichita, KS. She was born on August 13, 1940 in Fayetteville, AR to Noble and Willie Mae (Roberts) Parker.

She married Dean Gillmore on October 18, 1958. Lou enjoyed being outside, whether that was working in her garden or birdwatching and tending to her bird feeders. In her younger years she loved to go to garage and estate sales. Later in life she looked forward to her weekly Friday lunch dates with her daughters.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dean Gillmore, her parents, sister, Patricia Long, and grandson, Bryson Vornauf.

She is survived by her children; Kimberly Vornauf (Casey), Kari Gilmore (Brad), Kelly Gillmore (Robin), and Kristen Gillmore, sister, Diana Troxell, 6 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
