Michael Edward O'Meara, 56, died Saturday, May 10, 2025 at his home in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on May 31, 1968 in Moline, Illinois. Shortly after graduating from high school in East Moline Michael enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corp and served during Desert Storm.

After being discharged he lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he learned heating and cooling. Michael later moved to Wilmington, North Carolina where he learned metal work and opened his own roofing business specializing in metal and copper custom roofs until moving to Wichita just over two years ago going to work for DAS Companies with his brother.

Michael loved to play pool and became a very good player, he also loved hunting, fishing or anything outdoors.

Survivors include his daughter Rhiannon O'Meara of Emeral Isle, N.C.; father Ronald O'Meara, Sr. of Silvis, Illinois; mother Linda Diericks O'Meara of Wichita; and brother Ronald O'Meara, Jr. of Kansas City, Mo.
