Michael Ray Reyes, 70, of Andover, Kansas, died Friday, May 8, 2026 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on August 18, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Miguel and Frances Louise Falcon Reyes. Michael was raised and attended schools in Wichita.

He worked as a cook for several years at the Broadview Hotel, Larkspur Bistro, and Rowdy Joe's Steakhouse in downtown Wichita.  After moving to Andover had Michael had worked at the Andover Sr. Center and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents Mike and Frances Reyes of Wichita along with his brothers Reuben Reyes of Wichita and Roman Reyes of Kansas City, Kansas.

Michael is preceded in death by his sister Patricia.

Private family services will be held.
