Michael L. Slaska, 83, passed away on October 27, 2025 in Clearwater, Ks. He was born on October 28, 1941 in Deadwood, Sd to Marion and Betty (McClard) Piper.

He proudly served the United States Marine Corps. After being discharged, he went on to become the safety director for Medical Lodge nursing facilities. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going camping. He enjoyed going to POW Wows and stomp dances. He was known as the medicine man and helped numerous people.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, one brother, one sister, and one grandson.

He is survived by his seven children, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
