Michael Arlen Sweger, 64, of Wichita, died Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on December 4, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of James Arlen and LaDonna Faye Robinson Sweger. With his father serving in the military, Michael and his family lived in several places. They moved to Wichita in 1969 from Enid, Oklahoma. He graduated from Wichita South High School.

Growing up he enjoyed being a speed skater, later on he liked riding motorcycles. Through the years Mike had been a painter doing both home and commercial work.

Survivors include his daughter Kirsten Sweger; sister Christy Rector; and grandchildren Lucas Bathoummy, Isaiah Cook, Ariyah Cook, Nathan Cook all of Wichita.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for later.
