Myrna Gwen Schrepel, 66, passed away August 25, 2025 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on November 7, 1958 in Hoisington, Kansas, to Dwight and LaVerne (Langrehr) Curry. On March 12, 1978, she married Stephen Wayne Schrepel; they later divorced. He passed on September 20, 2021.

A lifetime area resident, Myrna worked as a CNA, most recently for Country Place Living. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Kansas Freemasons, and American Legion Post #286, all of which kept her very busy.

Survivors include two sons, Chadd Schrepel and wife Erin of Gardner, and Todd Schrepel of Hoisington; daughter Angela Schrepel of Hoisington; two grandchildren, Wyatt Schrepel and Callie Schrepel, both of Gardner; mother LaVerne Curry of Lawrence; brother Kevin Curry and wife T.J. of Baldwin City; and numerous other loved ones.

Myrna was preceded in death by her father, Dwight Curry.

Memorial services will be Saturday, November 15 at 11:00 A.M., at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church 1109 N Vine Street, Hoisington, KS, with a luncheon to follow
