Myron Lowell Dunagan, 88 years old, past away September 6th, 2025 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS. He was born in Albion NE on January 1st 1937. He was the 6th child of 8 children to Ervin C. and J. Leona Dunagan. Due to economic hardships the family moved to Wichita in 1941. Myron went to work for Blanchat Machine Co., Inc. part-time on June 9, 1954. He graduated from East High School in 1955 with a Certificate in Machine Shop and continued his career as a machinist for Blanchat Machine Co., Inc. where he continued to work for 50 years until his retirement June 18, 2004. He was considered a Master Toolmaker in the Aircraft Industry.
Myron married Betty C. Traylor on May 31, 1958 and they celebrated 24 years together until her death, August 22, 1982. They had 2 children together, Bradley E. and infant Cory Lee.
He married Susan K. (Poell) Williams September 2, 1983 and lovingly embraced her 2 children as his own. Myron and Suzy had 42 years of marital bliss.
He was an avid golfer but only wished he could have played like a pro. He touched many people's lives along the way with his kindness, wittiness, thoughtfulness, sincerity and honesty. If mankind had all the attributes Myron had, there would be no violence, no wars; only love and peace.
Myron is preceded in death by his first wife Betty and infant son, Cory; parents: Ervin C. and J. Leona; brothers: Ervin JR and Lavernon; Sisters: Catherine Smith, Roberta Dunagan and Eleanor Zimbelman.
Myron is survived by his wife Suzy; children: Bradley (Jo) of Knoxville, TN, Michael (Marcia) Williams and Staci (Brandon) Clark of Wichita, KS; grandchildren: Ashton (Jada) Clark and Kadie Clark of Wichita, KS; brother: Orlan Dunagan of Athens, TX; sister: Sharolyn (Floyd) Drinnen of Wichita, KS and many nieces and nephews.
The family is honouring Myron's wishes that there will be no services.
