Nancy Marie Thompson, 65, of Peck, Kansas, died Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Unit of Ascension Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on August 4, 1960 in Wichita. Nancy attended Campus High School in Haysville and moved to Van Buren, Arkansas. She returned to Wichita in 1978.

Nancy married Kirby D. Thompson on December 22, 1979 in Haysville. They had lived in the Peck area. They were members of the Council Hill Christian Church in Peck.

She retired from Spirit Aircraft after 20 years of service. Nancy enjoyed shopping, dining out, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren

Survivors include her husband Kirby; sons Clayton Thompson and Kody Thompson all of Peck; daughter Donna Hanson and husband Josh of Derby; sister Sandy Dameron of Haysville; and grandchildren Kennan Thompson, Linnea Hanson, Ava Hanson, and Alexa Thompson.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 6 at Council Hill Christian Church in Peck.

Arrangements are by Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Kansas.
