Nongkhan Souvannadet, 72, passed away on January 22, 2025 in Salina, Ks. She was born on September 1, 1952 in Laos to Thao and Nangvonosa Sananikone.

Nongkhan migrated to the United States in 2004 from Laos. In 2008 she married Khaophone Chanthaleuangsy, he preceded her in death. She owned a restaurant in Louisiana for several years before moving to Kansas. She loved to travel and was very active in the Laos community in Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Khaophone, son, Sunti Souvannadet, and grandson, Allan.

She is survived by her two daughters; Saydie (Scott) Williamson, Phetmany Souvannadet, two sons; Phanmasa Souvannadet, and Soukkaseam Souvannadet, five siblings, 10 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services to take place on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Affordable Cremations Plus, Wichita, Ks.
