Porfirio Miguel Espinosa, 59, lifelong Wichita resident, died on May 20, 2025 at Ascension Via Christi Medical Center-St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on July 19, 1965 in Wichita. He was known to many as Mike, and loved to spend time with family and friends. Mike also enjoyed playing pool along with gardening, cooking, and helping his fellow man.

Survivors include his two daughters Angelina McClung and Maleea Chavez; along with his siblings Daniel Martinez, Lucrecia Berry, Misty Espinosa, Rebecca Favela, and Amado Favela; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Robert Espinosa and Santos Chavez-Aldava; and siblings Angelina Grimaldo and Robert Espinosa, Jr.

The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 9:30 A.M., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 1 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 2351 N Market St, Wichita, KS 67219.

Inurnment will be in the Garden of Freedom of Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita.
